My Sunday Snapshot, Ash and the Cat Therapy

Our cats are part of the family and sometimes they drive us nuts, just like little children. Ash, our youngest, is becoming better at allowing us to fuss him and The Little Man has found the cat therapy great for when he’s bored or upset.

When we had Ash as a kitten three years ago, we also had a new suite for our living room on order. When they both arrived they compliment each other perfectly, don’t you think?

Ash loves to spend a lot of time outside, but he’s becoming more and more used to snuggling up inside too. And, he’s even started snuggling up to us. Our older cat, Sabrina, will not leave us alone and she constantly creeps up on any free lap for a snuggle. Or she’ll curl up on the back of the sofa if there is a throw or blanket on there. She likes her comfort.

Ash was more of a box cat, he was happiest curled up in any box he could find, no matter how big or small. But he also likes to snuggle on the sofa sometimes. Especially if he can hide behind the cushions.

This morning, The Little Man was bored and just sitting on the sofa. Ash came up and snuggled next to him allowing him to stroke him. Then Sabrina wanted in on the action and came for a snuggle too. The Little Man was stroking each cat and he said it was like cat therapy. Not only were the cats happy, The Little Man was too.

What a lovely way to spend a Sunday morning, listening to music and stroking cats, enjoyable cat therapy at it’s best.

Are you a cat or dog person? I’ve seen so many people get puppies recently and they are so cute. I just don’t think our cats would like a dog addition to the home.
