I’ve never really been a big follower of fashion…well, maybe in my teens, I loved the 80s New Romantic look. My teen has just discovered a very similar style herself. She loves big puffy blouses, but she’s wearing them with cargo pants rather than pencil skirts like I did.
I like that she’s developing her own style though. Star has always just gone with whatever feels comfortable, and now it’s whatever hides her catheter bag.
Today’s Blogtober prompt is Autumn Fashion and as I’m not a fashion guru I thought I’d just share some of my favourites.
My Autumn Fashion
I like Autumn because I like layering. Summer is for light clothes, Winter for the big woollies, but Autumn and Spring are the seasons for layering. I am a big fan of Joe Browns, I just love the colours and the styles. I am quite tall and even though I’m in a wheelchair I’m still quite mindful of the length of my clothes. I like to layer long tops over trousers, and I’m a big fan of cardigans. You can put them on when cold and whip them off when it’s too warm. I love boyfriend style cardigans which are nice and long.
I like tunic type tops and loose fitting trousers. I used to be a jeans every day type person, but I can’t wear denim anymore because my chronic illness means that some fabrics just drive me insane and unfortunately denim is one of them. I can’t wear silky type material either. I love dresses, but I can’t wear them long so I choose shorter dresses and wear them trousers or leggings. I also have to think of sleeve length too.

I love this time of year for the clothes. I do like a bit of layering. I have so many cardigans, they are so handy at this time of year when it still can get warm.

Love layering and love your choices. I’m definitely more of a wear what I like rather than a follower of fashion. I definitely like comfort and I love wearing things over and over and hate retiring them even when they’re threadbare lol xxx
Layering is definitely the way to go during Spring and Autumn. The weather is so crazy at the moment over here. At the beginning of the week, it was boiling hot and then Thursday and Friday it’s been freezing and it feels like winter all over again.
What a collection i will share this to my wife and i am pretty sure that she will love me and appreciate me for my research. I appreciate and thanks to you also
